# npm packages with no JavaScript entry point

> Popular npm packages that cannot be required or imported at all: CLIs, type-definition packages, stylesheets and data files. The ESM question does not apply to them.

These packages publish no loadable main or exports entry in their latest version, as confirmed by installing them and trying both require() and import. They are CLIs (use npx), type-only packages, stylesheets or data. If you are auditing an ESM migration, skip them explicitly rather than treating them as CommonJS.
